gnuminishogi software package provides program to play minishogi, a shogi variant on a 5x5 board, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnuminishogi
gnuminishogi is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnuminishogi package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnuminishogi *
You will get with gnuminishogi package name, version, architecture and description in a table
